Denver Broncos head coach John Fox has revealed that kicker Matt Prater missed his side's final practice in Denver before they arrive in New Jersey for the Super Bowl.
Prater has been out with an illness that forced the club to send him home to contain it from spreading throughout the team ahead of their clash with the Seattle Seahawks.
"We sent [Prater] home, but he's going to be fine for the game," Fox told reporters. "Hopefully he feels much better by tomorrow morning when we leave for New Jersey."
Prater missed just one field goal in his 26 attempts in 2013.
