Colin Kaepernick has backed the Denver Broncos to make "big plays" against the Seattle Seahawks in this weekend's Super Bowl.
The Seahawks knocked Kaepernick's San Francisco 49ers out of the playoffs in the NFC championship game to set up the meeting with the Broncos at the MetLife Stadium on Sunday.
The quarterback told the New York Post: "Playmakers Denver has on offense are better than some of the guys in [Seattle's] nickel defense. Opportunity for a lot of big plays. If the Broncos can get [the Seahawks'] nickel defense out there, they'll have some great matchups."
Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is the only player involved in this weekend's game to have previously played in the Super Bowl.
