Green Bay Packers' TJ Lang: Running game "took a step back"

Green Bay Packers offensive lineman TJ Lang believes that his side's running game struggled in their defeat to the Seattle Seahawks.

Green Bay Packers offensive lineman TJ Lang has admitted that his side's running game "took a step back" in their pre-season defeat to the Seattle Seahawks.

Mike McCarthy's running backs struggled to get anything going on the ground again in their 17-10 defeat, as they amassed just 36 yards on 20 attempts between them.

"Obviously, looking at the stats, we definitely took a step back today," Lang told the Green Bay Press-Gazette.

"A couple penalties negated some good runs. That's obviously something we take a lot of pride in - moving the ball on the ground - and we just didn't get it done tonight. We're going to have to do better."

Green Bay open their regular season in two weeks' time against the San Francisco 49ers.
