Houston Texans defensive end Jadeveon Clowney is relishing his first training camp in the NFL to end talk of the hype after being selected first overall in the 2014 Draft.
The 21-year-old has been touted as one of the best defensive prospects to enter the league in recent history, but Clowney is adamant that he wants to ignore the noise and start playing.
"You just have to go out there and play," Clowney told reporters. "It's football. It's not a science test or something I hate... I've been playing for a while. It's not that hard."
Clowney underwent a sports hernia operation last month, but is expected to be fit for the start of camp later this week.
