DeAndre Hopkins has been cleared to play in the Houston Texans' opening game of the season.
The rookie wide receiver sustained a concussion during the team's second pre-season game, but has now passed the final part of the league's concussion protocol.
Teammate Andre Johnson told the Texans' website: "I think he's come along well. He's a rookie still. There are things he's going to have to learn.
"Now, he's really going to have to learn more on the fly because he missed pre-season games and things like that.
"I think he's done well so far and I think he's going to help us out a whole lot."
The Texans play the San Diego Chargers on Monday night.
