Report: Houston Texans waive tackle Brennan Williams

The Houston Texans waive offensive tackle Brennan Williams with the failed physical designation tag ahead of their training camp, according to a report.

The Houston Texans have waived offensive tackle Brennan Williams as he failed a physical before his side's training camp, according to a report.

The Texans selected Williams out of the North Carolina Tar Heels in the third round of the 2013 Draft after an impressive college career.

However, his spell with the club is over after just a year as Bill O'Brien's side have released him with the failed physical designation tag, reports ESPN.

The 23-year-old missed the entire 2013 season after having microfracture surgery.
