The Miami Dolphins have capitalised on a string of errors by the Jacksonville Jaguars to take a 10-3 lead into half time in their NFL game this evening.
Josh Scobee thought that he had opened the scoring for the Jaguars when he kicked a 47-yard field goal midway through the first half, but the effort was chalked off for offensive holding.
After the first quarter finished with no score, the Dolphins took the lead at the start of the second when a deep Blake Bortles pass was picked off by Louis Delmas and returned 82 yards to the endzone.
Bortles got the Jaguars back into a strong field position, but a miscommunication during a snap saw the ball come loose, leaving Scobee to kick the field goal.
Delmas recovered a Jaguars fumble late on to give Miami the ball again, and they extended their lead through a Caleb Sturgis field goal just before half time.
