The Jacksonville Jaguars have listed Maurice Jones-Drew as questionable for their game against the Tennessee Titans this weekend.
The running back missed last week's 27-20 defeat to the Buffalo Bills with a hamstring injury, which prevented him from practising until Friday this week.
Head coach Gus Bradley told the team's website: "He was in on the run plays and he took some actual reps although the tempo was slowed down. I said, 'We need to see you where you made tremendous progress over the last couple of days'.
"It will be interesting to see from [head athletic trainer] Mike [Ryan] but all tales tell us that he made good progress.
"We always challenge our guys to really push themselves to the edge, push yourself to the edge because that's how you have a greater chance to get better. That was the conversation I had with him. He's got to be smart but continue to push yourself there so you gain confidence where the injury is at."
Jones-Drew has 719 rushing yards and five touchdowns so far this season.
