The Miami Dolphins and the San Diego Chargers are level in their NFL clash at Sun Life Stadium.
The Dolphins started the game well as the offense moved seamlessly downfield before they were held in the red zone by the Chargers' defense and were forced to settle for a field goal from Caleb Sturgis which he dispatched from 22 yards.
Philip Rivers responded with a drive of his down and the Chargers went one better than Miami and punched the ball into the end zone as the quarterback connected with Antonio Gates over the middle of the field for a five-yard score.
However, the Dolphins responded in the second quarter with a good drive that was kept alive with a roughing the passer penalty on quarterback Ryan Tannehill after the Chargers thought that they had turned the ball over and Daniel Thomas made the visitors pay with a one-yard rushing score.
Rivers along with running back Ryan Mathews moved the ball downfield and the quarterback thought that he had a touchdown when he found Gates in the end zone.
However, this was brought back for him throwing the ball past the line of scrimmage and that forced Nick Novak into action from 27 yards and he tied the game.
