Miami Dolphins star in trouble over tweet

Miami Dolphins general manager Dennis Hickey admits that they will sit down with Don Jones after his controversial tweets.

Miami Dolphins general manager Dennis Hickey has admitted that he is disappointed with Don Jones after his controversial reaction to the St. Louis Rams drafting Michael Sam.

Soon after Sam was drafted in the seventh round, Jones tweeted "OMG" and "horrible" as Sam became the first openly gay player in NFL history.

"I was made aware of it and I was disappointed in those comments. That's not what we stand for as an organisation. It's a celebration, I think it's a great thing for the league," Hickey said, ESPN reports.

Hickey revealed that the team plans to sit down with Jones in order to address the comments and handle it internally.
