Special teams coordinator Mike Priefer wants Chris Kluwe to focus on punting, not the Hall of Fame.

Mike Priefer has said that Chris Kluwe's campaign to get former Oakland Raiders punter Ray Guy into the Pro Football Hall of Fame is wearing thin.

The Minnesota Vikings punter was fined by the NFL for covering a badge on his shirt marking the 50th anniversary of the Hall of Fame with a Post-It note.

The special teams coordinator told the St. Paul Pioneer Press: "Those distractions are getting old for me, to be quite honest with you.

"Do I think Ray Guy deserves to be in the Hall of Fame? Absolutely. But there's other ways of going about it, in my opinion.

"To me, it's getting old. He's got to focus on punting and holding."

It is standard for players to be fined for breaching the league's uniform code.
