Tom Brady: 'I won't watch the Super Bowl'

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady says that he will not watch the Super Bowl next month, now that his own team's season is over.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has admitted that he has no interest in viewing the NFL season finale when the Denver Broncos take on the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl on February 2.

Brady's men lost 26-16 to the Broncos on Sunday, meaning a second consecutive AFC championship game loss for the Patriots, following last year's defeat to the Baltimore Ravens.

The signal caller stated to a local radio station that having lost the game, he has no preference as to which team end the season as champions.

He told WEEI-FM on Wednesday: "I don't have much of a rooting interest, truthfully. Those games are hard to watch. I don't really see myself sitting down to enjoy a football game to watch it.

"Our season's over and truthfully, I could not care less about watching the game. That's pretty much how I feel."

Brady has led the Patriots to three Super Bowl victories in his career, although none since defeat of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2005.
