Dan Connolly: 'Tom Brady can play until he's 45'

New England Patriots guard Dan Connolly insists that quarterback Tom Brady can continue to play in the NFL into his mid-40s.

New England Patriots guard Dan Connolly has revealed his belief that quarterback Tom Brady can play well into his 40s before retiring from the game.

Brady's father conceded earlier this week that his son's run with the Patriots "will end badly" as he "wants to continue to play till he's 70".

However, Connolly had a more realistic target for his signal-caller, and believes that Brady will be around for many more years yet.

"If he keeps working the way he does, I don't see why not," Connolly told Around The NFL.

"He's a hard worker and a great competitor."

Brady Sr doesn't believe that will happen in New England though, with the franchise known for its history of making unemotional roster decisions.
