The New England Patriots record a narrow win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The New England Patriots had to come from behind against the Jacksonville Jaguars to avoid their second consecutive loss in the NFL.

The Jags took an early lead through a Justin Blackmon touchdown, before Josh Scobee added to the lead with a field goal.

Danny Woodhead helped get the Patriots back into the game with a touchdown just before half-time.

Wes Welker added to New England's score in the fourth quarter to open up a 10-point lead.

Another Scobee field goal and a late surge from the Jaguars saw the home side come close to leveling up the scores near the end of the game, but the Patriots' defence held strong.

The 23-16 win means the Patriots are still in the race to secure a bye week in the playoffs.
