Sean Payton has said that Jimmy Graham is being assessed day-to-day ahead of the New Orleans Saints' game against the Buffalo Bills this weekend.
The tight end sustained a foot injury during the team's 30-27 defeat to the New England Patriots earlier this month.
The head coach told reporters: "He is day to day. Tomorrow will be an important day. We will just kind of go by that. I don't want to speculate what we would and wouldn't do. There are two players that we are very comfortable with.
"In [Benjamin Watson's] case, he has a lot of experience. In Josh [Hill's] case, he has received snaps and he is a player that knows exactly what to do and he is athletic.
"They have done a good job of handling the work through today and we will see what tomorrow brings."
Graham has 593 receiving yards and six touchdowns so far this season in the NFL.
