New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin believes that comments made by wide receiver Hakeem Nicks following his side's defeat to the Carolina Panthers were "not smart".
Nicks lashed out at his offensive teammates as he was held without a reception in the Giants' 38-0 loss, which leaves them 0-3 in their season.
"I'll talk to him," Coughlin told the Newark Star-Ledger. "That's not a smart thing to say.
"He's on the field, quarterback was sacked seven times hit what, 15 times? That's not a smart thing to say. Oh, I'll talk to him about it, sure."
The Giants face the Kansas City Chiefs in week four of the NFL.
