New York Giants running back David Wilson has praised the addition of veteran Brandon Jacobs to his side's roster.
Wilson's place in the Giants' side has come under scrutiny since he fumbled twice in their opening match of the season on Sunday, and the addition of fellow running back Jacobs only served to increase the speculation surrounding his starting spot.
However, the 2012 first-round draft pick is not worried about his personal future, instead choosing to focus on the positives that Jacobs could bring to the team.
"That is another guy in this locker room that can help this team win some games. I am glad to have him back and he looked good out there," ESPN quotes Wilson as saying.
"All the years he has been in the league, he has learned something new and going out there, he has learned something new each year and he has experience, and we can use a guy like that to teach the younger guys and also help us go out on the field.
"He knows how to handle certain situations. In the heat of the battle he is a guy with experience."
The Giants lost their opening match of the season and will face Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos in their next match on Sunday.
