New York Giants co-owner John Mara wants deflategate scandal to end

New York Giants co-owner John Mara wants the deflategate saga to end in the near future because he is tired of hearing about the scandal.

New York Giants co-owner John Mara has admitted that he is "tired" of the deflategate scandal and wants the situation to be resolved in the near future.

The NFL and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady have been embroiled in a bitter battle throughout the off-season after he was suspended for four games for being generally aware that members of his side's equipment staff had deflated balls in the AFC championship game.

The matter has been taken to court after Brady's ban was upheld by commissioner Roger Goodell, but despite pleas from judge Richard Berman for the parties to reach a settlement, no agreement has yet been reached, much to the dismay of Mara.

He told WFAN: "I just want it to be over with one way or the other. We're all tired of hearing about it."

The NFL and the NFL Players' Association are due to meet in court again on Wednesday.
