Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Jerry Gray has admitted that he is not surprised by the impact rookie quarterback Geno Smith has had at New York Jets.
Gray, whose defense are next to face the deep ball game of Smith, said that playing against Andrew Luck last season will help his side against another rookie QB this year.
"You've got to go with what you do well," Gray told the club's official website. "I think what helped us is that last year we got a chance to go against [Andrew Luck] and I thought he was a premium quarterback.
"We watched him throw deep balls, so we don't have to be shocked [by a rookie] anymore."
The Titans host the Jets on Sunday at LP Field.
