New York Jets owner Woody Johnson has conceded that he knows the franchise's fans will want to see changes when the current season concludes.
Both coach Rex Ryan and general manager John Idzik are under pressure after a disappointing season, and Johnson is aware that the fans will not allow it to continue into next year.
"I've always thought he's a very good coach. He's an excellent coach, excellent teacher. The fans are going to want to see something different. They're not going to let us get along and I don't want to do exactly the same thing," Johnson told reporters.
"So it's going to be either the way we coach or the way we approach it. It could be with the same people. It might be with different people. That's the case each and every year."
In each of his first two seasons with the Jets, Ryan was able to lead the franchise to the AFC Championship Game while Idzik has been heavily criticised for his trade and Draft decisions this past year.
