Oakland Raiders head coach Dennis Allen believes that it is "time" for his team to make a surge for the playoff places in the AFC.
The Raiders are currently bottom of the AFC West with a 3-4 record, but beat the Pittsburgh Steelers last week to reignite their hopes in the 2013 campaign.
"It's time for us," Allen told The AP. "If we're going to do something, we need to start making some sort of move.
"The consistency with our football team is something that I've talked about a lot, and that's what we have to develop.
"If we're ever going to become the team we think we can become, then we need to put some things together."
Allen's side face the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
