The Jacksonville Jaguars have gone into half time of their opening NFL match of the new season with a surprise 17-0 lead over the Philadelphia Eagles at the Lincoln Financial Field.
The Eagles suffered a poor start to the match as Nick Foles was sacked by Chris Clemons and fumbled the ball on their opening possession, allowing the visitors to turn it over.
Jacksonville took full advantage of the situation, with Chad Henne passing deep left to Allen Hurns for a 34-yard touchdown, beginning their season in style.
It was deja-vu shortly afterwards as once again Foles fumbled and lost the ball having been sacked, allowing Henne to pick out Hurns for a second touchdown in the opening 10 minutes of the quarter.
The visitors edged even further ahead at the start of the second quarter as Josh Scobee kicked over a 49-yard field goal to make it 17-0, and that was how it stayed until half time as the Eagles failed to fight back.
