Nate Allen has said that the Philadelphia Eagles have "total confidence" in backup quarterback Nick Foles.
The 24-year-old is expected to start in place of Michael Vick, who has a hamstring injury, for the Eagles' game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers later today.
The safety told reporters: "We have total confidence in Nick. We know what he can do, he's a heck of a quarterback, puts points on the board. Like I said, we have total confidence in him."
Foles made six starts for the team last season, securing his only win against the Buccaneers.
