Nick Foles has insisted that he wants to stay with the Philadelphia Eagles despite being named as the number two quarterback by coach Chip Kelly.
Foles was in competition with Michael Vick for the starting quarterback jersey throughout pre-season but just missed out to his more-experienced rival when Kelly confirmed that Vick would be his number one choice for the 2013 season.
A number of NFL teams are reportedly on the lookout for a quarterback, but Foles insists that he is happy in Philadelphia and that not even a starting spot elsewhere could lure him away from the team.
"I want to be here. I want to be with my team. I want to be here. I've been with these guys," Foles told reporters.
"I feel like we have a really good thing going. I love this team, I love the coaches, everything about it, the city. So I want to be here. I want to be in Philadelphia."
Kelly has also moved to rule out Foles leaving the franchise.
