Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly has insisted that his team cannot afford to keep turning the ball over if they want to reach the post-season.
The Eagles committed four turnovers in their 38-27 defeat to the Dallas Cowboys, which saw them slip out of first place in the NFC East and out of the projected playoff picture, with two games to play.
Kelly told reporters: "It's the same thing we talk about every week. It sounds like a broken record, but we can't turn the football over and expect to win football games. We are coaching it and we're not doing the right thing, so we'll continue to address it.
"I don't think there's a general theme to them," he added. "That's why I think it's hard to put your finger on it. A couple of them were tips that went through our hands first. We didn't catch the ball. Sometimes we're just off a hair."
Kelly's men have 34 giveaways this season, compared to just the 19 turnovers that they committed last term.
