NFL safety Ryan Clark announces retirement after 13 seasons

Former Pittsburgh Steelers and Washington Redskins safety Ryan Clark announces his retirement after 13 seasons.

Ryan Clark has announced his retirement from American Football after 13 seasons in the NFL.

The safety played in two Super Bowls with the Pittsburgh Steelers, winning one in 2008, while he also enjoyed spells with the New York Giants and Washington Redskins.

The Giants signed Clark in 2002 as an undrafted free agent, before he joined the Redskins in 2004 for two seasons.

Clark went on to join Pittsburgh, where he spent seven years and started 109 games, before one more season with the Redskins in 2014.
