The Pittsburgh Steelers have removed tight end Heath Miller from the physically unable to perform list and have added him to their active roster.
The 28-year-old has been out of action since last season after tearing his ACL against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Miller has missed all of the Steelers' off-season activities and pre-season games but head coach Mike Tomlin hopes that he will be fit before week six of the campaign to justify his removal from the PUP list.
Pittsburgh face the Tennessee Titans in their first regular season game next Sunday.
