A scoreless second half from the Jaguars resulted in a 24-point home loss to the San Diego Chargers in the Monday Night football.
Chargers quarterback Phillip Rivers finished the match with 294 yards and three touchdowns as the injury-hit Jaguars struggled to influence the encounter.
Blaine Gabbert threw two touchdowns in the second quarter but the Jaguars responded to an early 10-0 deficit to take the lead. Rivers, however, answered back with two touchdown passes of his own.
A Ryan Matthews 31-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter added to the lead, leaving the Chargers with a dominant 38-14 win.
Jacksonville, who now sit at 3-9 with four games remaining, welcome the Tampa Bay Buccanneers next Sunday.
