New England Patriots corner Brandon Browner has admitted his excitement at facing the Seattle Seahawks in the upcoming Super Bowl.
As a Seahawk himself this time last year, Browner was suspended and missed his team's victory over the Denver Broncos on the way to their first championship in history.
Now he will get his chance to avenge missing out on that match, but it means going into battle against his ex-teammates.
Browner told The News Tribune: "It means a lot as I missed the one last year. I'm fortunate to be back in the Super Bowl the following year with a good football team.
"And the bond that I've built with these guys is like the bond that I built with them guys [in Seattle] for the last three years. It's a good feeling.
"Those guys are like my brothers over there - they're my best friends. But on the day, I'm trying to win. I'm headhunting."
The Patriots and the Seahawks will meet for Super Bowl XLIX in Arizona on Sunday February 1.
