Jadeveon Clowney: 'I want to be number one Draft pick'

Former South Carolina Gamecocks defensive end Jadeveon Clowney expresses his desire to be chosen as the first overall pick in this year's NFL Draft.

Former South Carolina Gamecocks defensive end Jadeveon Clowney has expressed his desire to be chosen first in this year's NFL Draft.

Clowney is widely considered to be one of the top overall prospects in this year's batch, although he faces stiff competition from quarterback Johnny Manziel, who has also been tipped to go first.

The 21-year-old has previously expressed his desire to join the Atlanta Falcons if they were to trade up to get him, but he has now revealed that his main goal is to be the top overall pick.

"That's one of my goals here, to go number one. I came out of high school as the number one player, so I want to come out of here as the number one guy," Clowney told reporters.

The Houston Texans currently have the number one pick for May's Draft, although they have said that they could be open to trading down.
