Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kendall Wright has been ruled out for the rest of pre-season with a sprained knee.
Wright picked up the injury during the first half of his side's 27-19 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday.
The Titans initially feared that the 2012 first-round draft pick may have torn his ACL, but an MRI scan showed that he had merely sprained the right knee.
The injury means that Wright will definitely miss his side's pre-season encounter with the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday, while he is also expected to be unavailable for the match against the Minnesota Vikings on August 29.
However, Titans coach Mike Munchak is hopeful that the 23-year-old will be fit to face the Pittsburgh Steelers in the regular season opener on September 8.
