Report: Mike Munchak to stay at Tennessee Titans

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Munchak will reportedly continue in his role for a fourth season.

The Tennessee Titans have reportedly decided to keep Mike Munchak as their head coach for a fourth season.

The AFC South side have said that they are continuing to evaluate their coaching staff, but NFL.com reports that Munchak is expected to hold onto his job.

The team's CEO, Tommy Smith, said in a statement on their website: "I said all along that we would review every aspect of the football operations at the conclusion of the season, in early January.

"Today I sat down with [general manager] Ruston Webster and Mike and we discussed every coach and player on the roster. We had good discussions, but no final decisions were made."

Webster added: "The three of us met all day today in Houston. We had a good conversation in regards to the team and moving forward. Nothing final has been decided at this point, but we hope to have a decision soon."

Munchak has spent his entire coaching career with the team, having been drafted by the franchise, then named the Houston Oilers, as an offensive guard in 1982.
