The Houston Texans ran out 30-24 victors over the Tennessee Titans thanks to an overtime touchdown from DeAndre Hopkins.
The visiting side took their first real chance in the opening quarter when Garrett Graham made use of a simple one-yarder from Matt Schaub for the touchdown, allowing kicker Randy Bullock to convert and put them 7-0 ahead.
The Titans hit back soon after with a touchdown of their own when Kendall Wright picked up a six-yard ball from Jake Locker, which gave placekicker Rob Bironas the chance to put the scores level at 7-7.
The second quarter was to play out in a rather uneventful fashion, with Bironas popping up with a field goal from 47-yards late on to give the Titans a 10-7 advantage at the break.
After half time the Texans took their chance to get back into the lead when Owen Daniels took a 12-yard pass from Schaub, which then allowed Bullock to kick his side 14-10 ahead going into the fourth quarter.
The Texans continued to edge closer towards victory in the final quarter as Chris Johnson was fouled in the end zone, which earned his side an extra two points.
However, the two-point safety was not enough for the Texans as the Titans hit back when Delanie Walker caught hold of a 10-yard pass from Locker to put his side into the lead. The Titans then furthered their advantage as Alterraun Verner made a 23-yard interception return to give his side a 24-16 lead.
But the Texans were not done yet as they made a last-gasp bid to get back into the game when Arian Foster completed a one-yard run to take the game into overtime.
His side then carried the momentum into the last 15 minutes and it paid off as Hopkins collected a three-yard pass from Schaub to give the Texans a 30-24 victory.
