DeAngelo Hall tears Achilles again

Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall suffers a major setback as he tears his Achilles for a second time this season.

Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall has torn his Achilles for a second time during the course of this season and underwent a procedure on Thursday.

Hall tore his Achilles for the first time in week three and underwent surgery, but he suffered a setback this week and was forced to go under the knife to repair the tendon.

It is understood that the injury pushes back his recovery time by around a month but he is still expected to be able to report to training camp ahead of next season, NFL.com reports.

However, it is unclear as to whether the 30-year-old will still be on the roster as Washington could cut the cornerback and save money towards their salary cap next season.

Rookie Bashaud Breeland has impressed the coaching staff since stepping in to replace Hall, and despite being signed through until 2017, the veteran could be without a team.
