Team England's three entrants to the women's 400m sprint have qualified from their respective heats for Monday's semi-finals at Hampden Park Stadium.
Kelly Massey, Shana Cox and Margaret Adeoye all safely finished inside the top three of their heats, and of the three it was Massey who was the fastest English athlete in the competitive heat two.
Adeoye left herself with plenty to do after a fairly slow start, but in the end she was comfortably second with a time of 53.98s, while Cox impressed with a personal best.
The fastest woman across all six heats was the reigning champion Amantle Montsho of Botswana, who crossed the line in 51.88s.
