Liverpool and Manchester City have reportedly learned the asking price of Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane.
The 28-year-old has enjoyed a hugely successful four-and-a-half year stint at the Allianz Arena, contributing 53 goals and 51 assists from his 194 appearances in all competitions.
However, the Germany international has now entered the final six months of his contract, putting Bayern at risk of losing the versatile attacker on a free transfer.
While it is plausible that Bayern's hierarchy may reject all advances during the January window, they may have to consider any suitable offers.
According to Football Insider, two of his alleged admirers have discovered what fee that they will have to shell out for his signature.

What is Sane's asking price?
The report suggests that Bayern have settled on a valuation of £20m for Sane if they receive any interest from Liverpool, Man City or another club.
In the case of Liverpool, they may require an alternative to Federico Chiesa, despite the suggestion of his agent that he will remain at Anfield.
Meanwhile, City are seemingly in the market for a new player for the final third given their widely-reported interest in Eintracht Frankfurt man Omar Marmoush.
Sane has already played a starring role at the Etihad Stadium earlier in his career, chipping in with 39 strikes and 43 assists from his 135 appearances.

A complex situation for Bayern
Despite Sane's physical qualities, he has not been first choice at Bayern since the arrival of Vincent Kompany as head coach.
Four goals and one assist have come from seven starts and 10 substitute outings in the Bundesliga and Champions League.
While there are plus points in Bayern keeping Sane until the end of the season, they already risk losing Alphonso Davies and Joshua Kimmich on free transfers.
Realistically, club officials cannot afford to miss out on that level of transfer fees, and Sane is currently viewed as the least valuable player of the trio.
