Yohan Blake believes that his fellow Jamaican Usain Bolt deserves some of the credit for the Olympic silver medal that he won during the final of the men's 100m tonight.
While Bolt set a new Olympic record on his way to claiming gold for a second time at the Games, compatriot and training partner Blake did enough to hold off the challenge from America's Justin Gatlin to claim second spot in his first Olympics.
"Usain knows what it takes, he is a world beater and he is the fastest man in the world," Blake told BBC Sport.
"But I got a silver medal in my first Olympic games and a lot of that is down to Usain and our coach."
Like Bolt, Blake will also compete in the 200m later this week.
