Olympic gold medalist Denise Lewis has branded the selection for the Great Britain athletics team as a "farce".
The 39-year-old has criticised athletics head coach Charles van Commenee for leaving Jenny Meadows, Jemma Simpson, Emma Jackson and Marilyn Okoro out of the team, despite all four claiming the 'A' standard time.
"I'm disappointed with the selection committee because they are not sending the strongest team. It's a farce," ESPN quotes Lewis as saying.
Meanwhile, drugs cheat Dwain Chambers was included in the men's team after his lifetime Olympics ban was overturned.
