Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt has reportedly jetted to Germany to meet with a doctor to receive treatment on a back injury.
The 100m and 200m world-record holder was forced to pull out of a race in the Diamond League in Monaco due to injury, which could damage his chances in this summer's Olympic Games in London.
It is understood that the injury is a recurring problem with his back, which hampered his season in 2010, according to the Daily Mail.
Bolt's coach Glen Mills said: "Arising from Usain's participation at the national trials in Kingston this past weekend, where he had a slight problem, after careful assessment I have had to withdraw him from the Diamond League meeting in Monaco on July 20 to give him sufficient time for treatment and time to train and prepare for the Olympic Games in London."
Reports have claimed that the 25-year-old has sought treatment from German doctor Muller-Wohlfahrt, who resides in Munich.
