Mo Farah has said that Lord Sebastian Coe will "change athletics" if he is named IAAF president this week.
Coe is running against former pole vaulter Sergey Bubka, and will find out on Wednesday whether he will replace outgoing president Lamine Diack.
"Hopefully, with Seb stepping into the job, I hope he gets that job because I believe he can change athletics. What he did for London 2012 was incredible, so I believe he can do a great job," Farah told Sky Sports News.
"I don't want to see anything bad in athletics because that's the sport I do every day and the sport I love. I don't want people getting the wrong end of the stick."
Farah was recently cleared of doping following an investigation by UK Athletics.
