Christine Ohuruogu disappointed with Lamine Diack comments

British athlete Christine Ohuruogu reveals that she is disappointed with comments made by IAAF president Lamine Diack regarding the doping allegations involving Russia.

Christine Ohuruogu has questioned the position of IAAF president Lamine Diack after he claimed that athletics was "in crisis" in the wake of the recent doping allegations involving Russia.

Diack, who is regarded as the most powerful man in the sport, insists that he was shocked to see a documentary implicate a number of IAAF officials in covering up doping in Russia.

However, that revelation has led to Ohuruogu querying Diack's role in athletics, believing that the 81-year-old was wrong to voice his thoughts in the public domain.

The 30-year-old told BBC Radio 5 live: "It's very hard to promote our sport when he doesn't know what the hell is going on. Who else's job is it?

"I think that kind of sentiment is uncalled for. Even if he felt that way personally he should have kept that private."

Diack has previously signalled his intention to stand down from his role during the summer.
