Great Britain ended the 2023 European Athletics Team Championships in fifth place in the First Division, while Italy stormed to the gold medal.
GB ended day one as high as second but slipped to fourth on the penultimate day, before dropping down another place on Sunday after failing to win a single event.
Nevertheless, Great Britain clinched another two second-placed finishes, with Scott Lincoln earning a runners-up berth in the men's shot put with a distance of 21.10m.
Italy's Zane Weir triumphed with 21.59m, while Bianca Williams put another 15 points on the board for GB with a strong run in the women's 200m, crossing the line in 22.75 seconds.

GB travel home having totalled 341 points across the three days of First Division action, 11 points off Spain in fourth place, while Italy comfortably won the title with 426.50.
Host nation Poland finished as runners-up with 402.50, while Germany nabbed the final spot on the podium with 387.50 points next to their name.
