Great Britain's Jo Pavey and Julia Bleasdale missed out on the medal places in the final of the women's 10,000m this evening.
Pavey finished in seventh with a time of 30:53.20, which is a personal best for the 38-year-old.
Meanwhile, her compatriot Bleasdale also produced a personal best on her way to ending the race a place behind Pavey in eighth. The 30-year-old crossed the line in a time of 30:55.63.
The winner of the race was Ethiopia's Tirunesh Dibaba, who retained her title courtesy of a 62-second final lap which left her rivals trailing. Dibba's time of 30:20.75 was the best run that she has produced all season.
Kenyan duo Sally Jepkosgei Kipyego and Vivian Jepkemoi Cheruiyot collected silver and bronze respectively.
