Great Britain's Louise Hazel ended day one of the heptathlon at the London Olympics by winning her 200m heat this evening.
The 26-year-old had endured a tough start to the event, having failed to excel in the 100m hurdles, the high jump and the shot put.
However, a time of 24.48s was enough for her to cross the line in first place ahead of defending champion Natallia Dobrynska.
Germany's Lilli Schwarzkopf finished the race in third.
