UK Athletics has named Paula Dunn as the new Paralympic head coach.
Dunn, who won European bronze and Commonwealth silver as an able-bodied 100m sprinter, worked closely with former head coach Peter Eriksson during London 2012.
Eriksson has since become head coach of the Olympic athletic programme, replacing Charles van Commenee, and Dunn has been promoted in his place.
"London 2012 had an amazing impact on sport in this country," said the 47-year-old. "We have a real opportunity to build on that over the next four years.
"I believe there is more talent out there and I am looking forward to unearthing that talent and building on the success of London 2012.
"Working closely with Peter over the past four years has been superb but I am looking forward to taking the reins."
Dunn is the first of a number of new appointments as UK Athletics performance director Neil Black finalises his coaching team for the four-year cycle leading to Rio 2016.
