British triple jumper Phillips Idowu eventually submits his medical records to the BOA as his London 2012 participation hangs in the balance.

The British Olympics Association have finally been given Phillips Idowu's medical records following a four-day delay by the British triple jumper.

The 33-year-old, who withdrew from Team GB's athletics training camp in Portugal this week due to a suspected knee injury, had failed to hand in his medical records to the BOA immediately after their request earlier this week.

It is understood that the BOA, who will decide whether the Brit needs extra medical attention, have been given Idowu's records and will decide his Olympics fate in due course, according to the Daily Mail.

Idowu has not jumped competitively for two months.
