Boston Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge has revealed that he plans to talk to Rajon Rondo about his absence from the Sacramento Kings game last week.
The Celtics point guard stayed in Los Angeles without team permission, although speculation suggests that it is a miscommunication between the two parties as Rondo isn't playing back-to-back games this season.
"I plan on talking to Rondo when he gets back into town. I'll find out more about what went into it, and then we'll handle it internally. We handle all of those kind of issues internally," Ainge said, NBA.com reports.
Rondo spent time in Los Angeles celebrating his birthday after facing the Lakers, but it is understood that the Celtics are unhappy with his decision not to stay with the team.
