Brooklyn Nets point guard Deron Williams continues to be plagued by ankle injuries and will sit out the rest of the week.
The 29-year-old will not play against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night, and will be re-evaluated at the end of the week, ESPN reports.
Williams received a cortisone shot and a platelet rich plasma injection in both of his ankles to relieve inflammation following an MRI scan taken on Monday.
The Nets star has missed 12 games this season due to the on-going issue, but looked to be getting back on track as he averaged 25.0 points in his last two games.
