Charlotte Bobcats point guard Kemba Walker has admitted that he wanted to redeem himself against the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday following his performance last weekend.
Walker was in inspired form as he notched 26 points to help the Cats overcome the Blazers 124-94 at the Time Warner Cable Arena on Saturday night.
"It felt good out there. I wanted to redeem myself from the last game. I didn't have much energy," Walker told reporters.
"I knew I had to come out and spark my teammates. We came out with a big win against a good team tonight. We just went hard as possible out there and see what happens."
The result sees Charlotte sitting in third place in the Southeast Division with a record of 34-36 for the season.
