The Cleveland Cavaliers have offered David Blatt the opportunity to manage the team, according to a number of reports in the press.
Sources, including Yahoo!, suggest that the former Maccabi Tel Aviv coach was given the proposition on Thursday night, with the Cavs now discussing a contract with the 55-year-old.
The team is yet to comment on the speculation, though should Blatt end up signing with Cleveland, it will be his first head coaching job in the NBA.
Having left Tel Aviv as Euroleague champions, Blatt is widely regarded as one of basketball's most progressive offensive strategists.
